Lene Tvist - Styling

The location frames the scene, the models carry the narrative, while styling, props, and makeup add texture, character, and intent - sometimes taking the lead as a hero product, at other times quietly supporting the story.

Through my work in production for stills and video, I also handle styling, props, and makeup most of the time. I aim to draw as much as possible from reality, through models and location, while staging, styling, and adding makeup where needed. Below is a selection of examples.

This project explores enzymes used in the production of plant-based foods. I created and styled vegan dishes, and based the styling on a mix of the models’ own wardrobes to enhance realism refined with a few styled elements and selected colors.Casting was sourced through social media, online platforms, agencies, and street casting, with a focus on representing diverse global markets. I managed the full production, including concept, strategy, budgeting, planning, casting, styling, and props.
